We are looking for an experienced, motivated Automotive Service Writer / Service Advisor who wants more than just another job. You'll be the key connection between our customers and technicians, managing the entire service experience from the initial write-up through vehicle delivery.
What You'll Do
- Professionally greet customers and identify their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Write and manage repair orders from start to finish
- Prepare accurate estimates and clearly explain recommended repairs and maintenance
- Present additional needed services and maintenance with confidence and integrity
- Communicate with technicians regarding diagnostics, repairs, parts, and completion times
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process — no customer left wondering what's happening with their vehicle
- Monitor repair progress and help ensure vehicles are completed correctly and on time
- Follow up with customers and build repeat and referral business
- Process payments and maintain accurate service records
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from drop-off through pickup
Who We're Looking For
- Automotive Service Writer / Service Advisor experience strongly preferred
- Strong automotive and mechanical knowledge
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability to recommend and sell needed maintenance and repairs
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Comfortable managing multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, positive, and motivated
- Someone who takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do
- A team player who wants to contribute, grow, and succeed
