Royal Oak Roast, a fast paced cafe is looking for a hard working and personable barista! Our ideal candidate would have an interest in specialty coffee, have retail experience, and be passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. Experience in coffee preferred, but very willing to train the right candidate if they have a great attitude. At least 1 weekend day necessary. Shifts vary, either 7-2, 8-3, 9-4, or 2-730. PM At the moment we are looking for someone who is able to close 2 days a week, as well has at least 1 weekend day of availability. Hourly starts at 13, negotiable with experience. The tip baseline starts at between $4.00-$5.00 an hour, total compensation is around 17 and up. We are currently looking for a Part time Employee, 2-4 days a week.
Duties include
-Welcoming guests into the cafe, and informing them of all products available, and providing expert recommendations
-Preparing coffee, tea based drinks
-Food and drink running
-Organization and fulfillment through our online platforms
-Light Cleaning
-Washing dishes
-Working in a fast paced environment
-Vacuuming
-Cleaning the entirety of the store during closing shifts
-Applicant must be able to lift 25+ lbs, as job does require moving boxes, milks, other standard restaurant products
