Job Summary:
You will support the individual to utilize skills that focus on coping with crisis, managing emotions, improving relationships, and maintaining daily routine and activities of daily living. You will also support caregivers to help identify and connect to community resources.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of health goals in an individualized, person-centered service plan.
- Medication administration is part of the position
- Assist clients in obtaining services that support the respite client’s behavioral health needs by providing community resources that may be useful.
- Help youth and families develop and utilize natural supports.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed, utilizing trauma-informed and person-centered approaches.
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation per clinical and administrative policies and procedures.
- Promote, support, and demonstrate MHP’s mission, vision, and values through behavior, job performance and adherence to policies, procedures, and standards.
- Participate in the development and improvement of programs and business processes.
- Work evening and weekend hours.

What We Need:
- Bachelors in a human service field required
- Staff need to be able to work with both kids and adults and be comfortable providing care while caregivers are not there
- Must be 21 years old, have a safe driving record, a current Colorado driver’s license and ability to travel within Boulder and Broomfield Counties.
