Job Description:
International Quality Homecare Services is seeking part-time and full-time Caregiver / Supportive Homecare Workers to work in and around Tomah, WI.
The services provided depend on the individual needs of each client and may include Personal Cares, Homemaking, Companionship, Home Health Aide, and other related homecare services.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The Caregiver must:
- Meet the age requirements to provide care services.
- Be flexible with schedule changes based on client needs.
- Be able to provide services according to the client’s care plan.
- Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors.
- Pass a criminal background check in the state where they will work.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Be able to communicate regularly with their supervisor regarding scheduling.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, transfers, and ambulation.
- Assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and errands.
- Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance as needed.
- Provide medication reminders when applicable.
- Assist clients with mobility using canes, walkers, and wheelchairs.
- Provide companionship and support based on individual client needs.
- Follow the client’s care plan at all times.
- Complete other duties outlined in the client’s care plan or assigned by the supervisor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods.
- Potential exposure to latex.
