- The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will oversee and execute internal and external communications and content marketing across Stephen Wise Temple and its schools, focusing most often on Wise Elementary School (K-6), the Aaron Milken Center Preschool, and the Parenting Center. This role is key to maintaining clear, consistent messaging across
- platforms. The Coordinator reports to the Chief Engagement Officer and also supports projects assigned by the Head of School.
- Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Chief Engagement Officer to align communications for Temple and School events, ensuring transparency and visibility through shared editorial calendars.
- Write and distribute timely and essential school communications via email and text.
- Work with administrators, faculty, clergy, and parent volunteers to support events and programs across the Temple and schools.
- Coordinate messaging across multiple platforms (website, email, social media) to promote events, programs, and holidays.
- Support the Center for Youth Engagement (CYE) by developing targeted messaging strategies to foster engagement within key audiences.
- Identify and define target audiences, ensuring school programming reaches the intended communities. Manage and update the database of prospective school families.
- Maintain and update the Wise School, CYE, and AMC websites, ensuring accuracy and search engine optimization.
- Manage the social media content calendar, identify promotional opportunities, and grow engagement across platforms.
- Lead communication efforts for large-scale, cross-organizational events (e.g., Purim Carnival, Wise Gala), including creating content calendars, email campaigns, digital marketing, and recap reports.
- Manage Google Ad campaigns for key programs, such as High Holy Days, school enrollment, membership renewals, and large events like Purim and the Gala.
- Ensure event photography is captured and maintain an organized, accessible photo database.
- Collaborate with clergy to promote programs for specific audiences, such as grandparents and college students.
- Support the Development team with school campaigns and fundraising initiatives throughout the year.
- Deliver weekly and monthly analytics reports to the Chief Engagement Officer.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing, communications, journalism, or related fields.
- At least three (3) years of experience in marketing, communications, or advertising.
- Strong copywriting and proofreading skills with attention to detail and brand voice.
- Excellent organizational skills and experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Google Suite, Microsoft Teams).
- Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok).
- Experience with graphic design, publication layout, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong reliability, integrity, accountability, and dedication to the mission of Stephen Wise Temple and Schools.
- Enthusiasm for staying current with social media best practices and adapting strategies as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ShulCloud.
- Expertise in paid social media campaigns.
- Proficiency in data analytics software.
- Video editing skills (primarily for social media).

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
