What You'll Do:
As a Shipping Coordinator, you will coordinate domestic and international shipments, communicate with carriers and customers, maintain accurate shipping documentation, and help ensure products are delivered safely and on time.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments from order release through delivery.
- Create Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping labels, customs documents, and other required shipping paperwork.
- Schedule pickups with LTL, Truckload, Parcel, and freight carriers.
- Obtain shipping quotes and negotiate spot freight rates when needed.
- Process shipping transactions using SAP or other shipping systems.
- Communicate daily with carriers, brokers, Customer Service, Production, and Receiving to coordinate shipments and resolve issues.
- Provide shipping quotes, estimated delivery dates, proof of shipment, and shipment status updates to internal and external customers.
- Audit shipping documentation and carrier invoices for accuracy.
- Maintain outbound shipment logs and shipping records.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate shipping and warehouse records.
- Pick, pack, wrap, band, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy using Pick Lists and Pack Lists prior to shipment.
- Record product weights and dimensions and enter information into shipping systems.
- Move finished products and shipping containers throughout the warehouse using material handling equipment.
- Assist Receiving and other departments with material movement and non-inventory shipments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of shipping, warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
- Experience with domestic shipping processes; international shipping experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Strong math skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to create basic spreadsheets and reports.
- Ability to follow documented work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified during the introductory period.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this position is listed below. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
