About the Position
Spine & Nerve Diagnostic Center is seeking a dependable and motivated Medical Assistant to join our Folsom team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn and grow in a clinical setting.
Previous healthcare experience and Medical Assistant certification are preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and a strong willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Take and accurately document patient vital signs.
- Room patients efficiently and help maintain a smooth patient flow.
- Use Epic to assist with patient check-in, check-out, appointment scheduling, and documentation.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, providers, and other team members.
- Assist with additional clinical and administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office, or clinical setting is preferred.
- Medical Assistant certification is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Epic or another electronic health record system is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, punctual, and prepared to work as scheduled.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and learning new processes.
- Able to remain positive and adaptable in a busy clinical environment.
- Professional and compassionate when interacting with patients.
