About Neighborhood Ballet
Neighborhood Ballet is a growing dance education organization serving children, teens, and adults throughout Metro Atlanta. Our mission is to create welcoming, high-quality arts experiences that foster confidence, creativity, connection, and joy.
We are seeking an Adult Division Director to lead and grow our adult dance and wellness programming. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building community, developing programs, and creating exceptional client experiences while using data and strategy to drive growth.
About the Role
This position goes beyond scheduling classes and administrative tasks. We are looking for someone who can help strengthen and expand our Adult Division through thoughtful leadership, relationship-building, and operational excellence.
The Adult Division Director will oversee day-to-day operations while actively working to increase enrollment, improve retention, support instructors, and identify opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate understands that successful programs are built through strong systems, meaningful relationships, and a willingness to continuously evaluate and improve.

Position Details
Location: Atlanta, GA (primarily on-site with some remote administrative work)
Schedule: Approximately 5-10 hours per week
Reports To: Artistic Director
Systems Used: Mindbody, ClassPass, Google Workspace
Start Date: July 15
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Operations
- Manage adult class schedules in Mindbody and ClassPass
- Coordinate instructor schedules and secure substitute teachers as needed
- Monitor class attendance and enrollment trends
- Assist with maintaining accurate program records and reporting
Financial Administration
- Track class totals and instructor payroll information
- Monitor unpaid accounts and communicate professionally with clients regarding outstanding balances
- Prepare instructor payment reports and support payroll processing
Program Growth & Development
- Analyze attendance, retention, and enrollment data
- Identify opportunities to strengthen existing classes and launch new offerings
- Collaborate with instructors to improve client experience and program performance
- Support marketing and outreach efforts aimed at increasing enrollment and retention
Events & Performances
- Assist with adult showcases, performances, and special events
- Coordinate rehearsals and participant communications
- Support ticketing, registration, and event logistics
Community Building
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for adult students
- Build strong relationships with instructors and participants
- Serve as a positive ambassador for Neighborhood Ballet within the community
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Dance studio management
- Fitness or wellness program management
- Arts administration
- Community-based program leadership
- Small business operations
Candidates should also demonstrate:
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, reporting, and basic financial tracking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
- Confidence navigating client service and payment-related conversations
- Experience with Mindbody, ClassPass, or similar software platforms preferred
- A growth-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
