Are you a master of the microphone with a passion for music and a knack for keeping the party going? We're seeking a full-time Karaoke DJ to join our team at our bustling karaoke bar.
We need a charismatic and technically skilled individual who can turn a regular night out into an unforgettable experience. You'll be the heart of our entertainment, managing the flow of the night and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere for all of our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Host Karaoke Nights: Introduce singers, encourage participation, and maintain a high-energy, positive vibe throughout the night.
- Manage Music & Technology: Operate our digital music library and sound system, ensuring seamless transitions between songs and handling requests efficiently.
- Sound Engineering: Adjust and fine-tune sound levels for each performer, ensuring every singer sounds their best.
- Crowd Engagement: Read the room, engage with the audience, and respond to the mood of the crowd to keep the energy up.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Quickly and effectively handle any technical issues with the microphones, speakers, or computer systems.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform basic maintenance and care for all DJ and karaoke equipment.
Qualifications:
- Extensive Music Knowledge: A deep understanding of various music genres and a good memory for song titles and artists.
- Multitasking Pro: The ability to manage song queues, handle technical equipment, and interact with guests all at the same time.
- Computer and Soundboard Skills: Proficient with karaoke software, digital music libraries, and sound mixing boards.
- Strong People Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse groups of people.
- Night Owl Schedule: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range for Compensation = Base Wage $22/hr + tips + sales bonus (ranges from 22-50/hr)
