Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage all aspects of patient check-in and check-out with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Coordinate appointment scheduling using patient management software and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and communicate coverage details clearly to patients
- Educate patients about treatment plans, financial options, and health policies to ensure informed decisions
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with health regulation policies and HIPAA standards
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth office operations and support medical administrative tasks
- Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service and guiding patients through their questions or concerns
Skills
- Proven experience in a medical or dental office environment with strong knowledge of health regulation policies
- Proficiency in Dentrix
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and client interactions
- Solid understanding of health insurance processes, billing procedures, and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care and treatment planning
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to type accurately and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous dental office experience is highly preferred, along with knowledge of medical administrative support practices

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
