Essential Functions:
- Manage, prepare, and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and pass-through entity tax returns, including multi-state filings
- Provide proactive tax planning, projections, and advisory services aligned with client goals
- Research complex tax and business issues and present clear, well-documented findings and recommendations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships through responsive, high-quality service
- Respond to and resolve federal and state tax notices accurately and efficiently
- Lead tax engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with firm standards and deadlines
- Mentor, train, and support the professional development of tax staff
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to manage workflow and resource allocation
- Identify opportunities for additional client services and participate in business development efforts
- Assist firm partners with leadership, administrative, and operational responsibilities as needed
- Maintain current knowledge of tax law changes and best practices to support firm-wide excellence
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s degree preferred)
- Active CPA license (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience with a primary focus on tax
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Professional, confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to work effectively with professionals at all levels, internally and externally
- Self-directed, solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and client service
