Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist for a temp/travel opportunity in Lodi, CA. This role is ideal for an experienced imaging professional who is confident performing screening and diagnostic mammography exams while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
The Mammography Technologist will work in a professional clinical environment with a collaborative imaging team, supportive leadership, and a focus on quality, safety, and patient comfort. This is a strong opportunity for a radiology professional who values steady weekday scheduling, no call requirements, and the ability to contribute directly to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams as ordered, following established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, answering questions, promoting privacy, and ensuring comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Assist the Radiologist with advanced mammography procedures, including breast biopsies and other specialized examinations.
- Produce high-quality images for Radiologist interpretation and complete accurate documentation.
- Obtain and communicate relevant patient information and preparation instructions to appropriate care areas.
- Escalate questions, clinical concerns, or complex challenges to senior staff or appropriate clinical leadership.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $65.00 to $69.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday.
- Hours of Operation: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with start and end times that may vary.
- Call Requirement: No call.
