We are looking for dependable Overnight Pet Sitters to provide in-home care for clients' pets while their owners are traveling or away from home.
In this role, you will stay overnight at a client's home and follow the pet's established routine. Assignments may involve dogs, cats, or other household pets and can range from one night to several nights.
What You'll Do
- Stay overnight at clients' homes during scheduled pet-sitting assignments.
- Feed pets according to the instructions provided by the client.
- Walk dogs and provide appropriate exercise, play, and companionship.
- Clean litter boxes and maintain clean pet areas.
- Give medications when required and follow the client's written instructions carefully.
- Observe pets for changes in behavior, appetite, or overall condition and report concerns promptly.
- Send pet photos and updates to clients through our mobile app.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and respectful environment in the client's home.
- Follow all care instructions and communicate with the team when questions or unexpected situations arise.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and responsible.
- Comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and other household pets.
- Comfortable handling pets of different sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments.
- Able to follow detailed instructions independently.
- Observant and attentive to changes in a pet's behavior or condition.
- Organized and professional when communicating with clients and team members.
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes.
Previous experience in pet sitting, animal care, veterinary settings, boarding facilities, shelters, or rescue organizations is helpful but not required.
Availability
- Must be available for overnight assignments.
- Availability for weekends and holidays is important.
- Must be willing to accept overnight bookings based on client demand and your availability.
- Must be able to travel to clients' homes within our service area.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Smartphone with reliable internet access.
- Ability to use a mobile app for schedules, client communication, and pet-care updates.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
- Commitment to protecting client privacy and treating clients' homes and property with care.
