Responsibilities
- Coordinate carry-out orders with precision and efficiency
- Greet guests warmly via phone and in person, providing clear communication about order details and wait times
- Use restaurant table management systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle phone communication with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette at all times
- Ensure all carry-out orders meet food safety standards, including proper packaging and timely delivery to guests
- Maintain organized workflow by prioritizing orders, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and keeping work areas clean and orderly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to confirm order accuracy and special requests, ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant reservation management or host/hostess roles preferred
- Food service experience with a strong understanding of guest services and hospitality principles
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clear, friendly interactions
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple carry-out orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing order totals
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures in a food service environment
- Experience with phone communication, demonstrating professionalism and courteousness at all times
