Established San Diego based Insurance Defense Law Firm is seeking an experienced PI / Construction Defect Paralegal
We seek an eager candidate 4 + yrs. of experience to join our outstanding litigation team. Candidates for this position may choose options of remote, on-site, or hybrid employment.

Requirements are:
· Must have a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA accredited program or be enrolled in a program.
· Must have at least 4 years experience working with attorneys defending Construction Defect matters (including slip and fall and construction injury). Additional experience with personal injury, auto accident, habitability cases is preferred, but not required.
· Candidates should have the ability to assist attorneys in all aspects of litigation matters including but not limited to: propounding and responding to discovery; preparing for depositions, mediations and settlement conferences; issuing subpoenas; independently obtain, review, and organize medical records/medical billings, calculate damages including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage; review work files; and familiarity with the California and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
· Must have experience in California Superior Courts.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
