We're a fast-growing roofing company looking for a driven, no-excuses Production Director to own our production department from top to bottom. This is a leadership role for someone who takes initiative, moves fast, and doesn't need to be told twice. What You'll Own
- Communicate directly with subcontractors to coordinate scheduling, expectations, and performance
- Create and manage work orders from job assignment through completion
- Generate and track material orders with accuracy and timeliness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Lead and develop a team of project managers and field managers
- Oversee daily production operations and hold the team accountable to timelines and quality standards
- Identify bottlenecks and resolve them — fast
What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in roofing or construction operations
- 2+ years in a management or leadership role
- Strong sense of urgency — you treat every day like it matters
- Self-starter who can operate independently without hand-holding
- Natural problem-solver who finds solutions, not excuses
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple jobs and priorities simultaneously
- Clear, professional communicator with subs, vendors, and internal team
- Familiarity with job management software (JobNimbus, AccuLynx, or similar) a plus
