American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of experience to work in a Breast Diagnostic Center within a hospital-based imaging setting in Richmond, VA.

Work in a hospital-based Breast Diagnostic Center - Mammography unit located in the Atrium building
-
Unit is equipped with 3 Hologic mammography machines, including contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) capability
-
Documentation systems include Penrad, Sectra (imaging), Ambry (high-risk breast program), and Expanse (registration/demographics)
-
Monday–Friday schedule with shift options of 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Approximately one Saturday half-day shift every 3–4 months

No floating required

26-week contract

Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience, with active experience within the last 6 months

ARRT certification in Mammography required

Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)

US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted

One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

License required if applicable

Must not have employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Responsibilities include independently performing screening and diagnostic mammography exams

Strong patient care skills and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team are essential

Scrubs required: bright pink/black in any combination, or all pink

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
