The Huffington Department of Education, Innovation and Technology’s Center for Educational Outreach (CEO) at Baylor College of Medicine seeks an individual to support science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (STEM+M) educational events and related research. This is a part-time position.
Baylor’s Center for Educational Outreach (Center), established in 1996, engages and prepares students in grades K–16 to meet national needs for a diverse and well-prepared STEM + M workforce while also increasing STEM literacy within the general populace. The Center provides in-person and web-based education and resources for teachers, students, and the public—all designed to improve science skills and literacy across the K–16 continuum and increase opportunities for underrepresented populations to access careers in medicine, science, and the health professions.
The Center is currently seeking a part-time individual to assist in a review of the STEM+M educational research literature and support the efforts of our STEM+M Planning Institutes.
