In this role, you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes customers, takes food and beverage orders, processes transactions accurately, and ensures every guest leaves satisfied. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system for pick up and take out orders, including phone-in orders
- Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions efficiently at the register
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas and cashier stations, adhering to sanitation protocols
- Assist with drink orders at the station
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction, including online and pick up orders
- Handle retail sales transactions for merchandise or promotional items when applicable
- Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
- Experience working with restaurant POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests effectively
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and maintaining a clean workspace according to health regulations
