Job Summary
Competitive Salary plus Bonus Plan. We are hiring for two Collector positions at our Pensacola, FL branch. We offer competitive salaries, paid vacation, and insurance benefit opportunities. Position is Monday-Saturday with flexibility of hours required. This position will report to the Branch Manager.
Job Purpose: Responsible for performing collection activities associated with delinquent accounts. Reviews delinquent accounts and engages in verbal and written collection efforts. Engage in a process to recover lost revenue. Reduce the number of recurring collection efforts by maintaining consistent collection efforts and attention to meeting company objectives.
Collector Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Assist the Branch Manager in making lending decisions by meeting one-on-one with auto loan applicants and assessing applicants' ability to repay future debts.
- Assumes responsibility for the effective and professional performance of collections functions.
- Assumes responsibility for the efficient administration of collection activities.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional business relationships with customers.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
Knowledge/Experience Preferred:
- General understanding of Office Suite Familiarity with collection procedures, including skip tracing, and related laws and regulations
- Ability to prioritize and meet the expectations/requirements of external and internal customers
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, read instructions, pass along information, and listen effectively to others
