We are currently seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our team at a skilled nursing facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen while making a meaningful impact on residents’ daily lives.
Position Details
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
Ensure food quality, taste, and proper presentation
Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines
Assist with food prep, portioning, and service
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Work collaboratively with dietary staff and supervisors
Previous cooking experience (healthcare or institutional setting preferred)
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts
Team player with a positive attitude
