Summary of Function:
Perform inspections per customer specifications, and collaborate with manufacturing operations team regarding quality related concerns, questions, issues, etc.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform quality control tests in the lab as well as on-site when necessary
· Assist with testing and calibrating lab equipment in preparation for specific tasks
· Perform quality control tests on welds and cleanliness, completed products and product samples
· Prepare samples prior to shipping them to customers
· Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure product integrity and quality control
· Analyze retrieved data and prepare reports for laboratory management
· Recognize and report any product failure issues
· Complete appropriate documentation
Educational Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent
· Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
Experience Requirements:
· Prefer 1-3 years of experience in a quality control function, preferably in a lab environment
· Prefer working knowledge of inspection, measuring and test equipment, such as, but limited to, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines, cleanliness equipment, mechanical test equipment, etc.
· Prefer a working knowledge of blueprint reading and geometric tolerances
· Working knowledge of Information Management System (Plex)
· Customer cleanliness specifications
· Weld testing

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
