Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, communicative, and has the determination to help clients meet their goals. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals in the field.
This is a great job for those in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Teaching, Behavioral Health, or other similar professions.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday: 7:45 AM-3:15 PM*
Friday: 7:45 AM-12:15 PM*

Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings.
- Monitor and document client progress, ensuring accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist clients with daily living skills and promote independence through positive reinforcement strategies.
- Conduct patient assessments to identify needs and develop appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Utilize appropriate, respectful, professional communication at all times while working
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients while adhering to behavioral health best practices.
Skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to assess client needs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating patience and empathy.
