Elite Care HCS Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals and families to become Host Home Providers through the Texas Home and Community-based Services (HCS) Program.
As a Host Home Provider, you will welcome an individual with an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD) into your home and provide a safe, supportive, family-style living environment while helping them achieve greater independence and an enhanced quality of life.

Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, clean, and supportive home environment.
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
- Encourage independence and personal choice.
- Support community integration and participation in recreational activities.
- Assist with transportation to appointments and community outings.
- Administer or assist with medications as directed and trained.
- Maintain required documentation and communication with the Elite Care HCS team.
- Attend required trainings and meetings.
- Work collaboratively with Program Monitors, nurses, therapists, guardians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Texas driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Current automobile insurance.
- Ability to successfully pass criminal background screening and any required pre-service screenings.
- Home must meet HCS certification and safety requirements.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Preferred Experience
Experience is helpful but not required in:
- Caregiving
- Direct Support Professional (DSP)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Home Health
- Foster Care
- Special Education
- Behavioral Health
- Working with individuals with IDD
Training and ongoing support are provided.
