Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise welding operations to assemble, repair, and maintain various metal structures and components. Duties
- Execute MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
- Interpret construction plans, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate welds.
- Read and analyze blueprints.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to prepare materials, assemble components, and complete welding tasks.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols including fire safety standards, power tool safety, and construction site safety procedures
- Conduct routine inspections of welds and fittings for quality assurance; perform maintenance or repairs as needed
- Assist in fabricating metal structures or components based on project requirements; support assembly and installation efforts on construction sites
- Follow all safety regulations during welding operations to prevent accidents; participate in safety meetings and training sessions regularly
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding.
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, construction plans, and schematics accurately
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with power tools including grinders, cutters, drills, committed to power tool safety practices
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to materials and weld sizes
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
