About Job:
The Academic Playzone is a warm, family-oriented preschool dedicated to nurturing children through play-based learning, love, and quality care. We're looking for a dependable, friendly, and flexible team player to join us as a Floater who supports both our classrooms and front office. Jobs Hours will be: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in various classrooms as needed (Infants to Pre-K)
- Help with classroom supervision, diaper changes, meals, and transitions
- Step in to cover teacher breaks or absences
- Support front desk and administrative tasks, such as answering phones, organizing files, and greeting parents
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and positive learning environment
- Prepare classroom materials or activity setups when needed
- Be available for miscellaneous support such as kitchen help or light cleaning
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a childcare or school setting preferred
- Flexible and willing to assist wherever needed
- Friendly, reliable, and professional demeanor
- Must pass background check and meet Texas Minimum Standards
