Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Foreman Electrician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. The ideal candidate is a dependable leader with strong technical skills, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Pay: $18.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, connect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems on commercial construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable safety regulations.
- Perform conduit bending and installation.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
- Effectively communicate with customers, coworkers, subcontractors, and management.
- Supervise and delegate work to crew members as needed.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience.
- Journeyman electrician experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficiency with electrical tools, testing equipment, and conduit bending.
- Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to work independently and lead a team when required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- Day shift
- 8-hour shifts (5x8 schedule)
- Overtime available
- Weekend work as needed
