Harambee Christian School is seeking Christ-centered, dependable substitute teachers to provide classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher. The substitute teacher will uphold the school’s mission, demonstrate a love for God and children, and maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment for students in kindergarten through middle school.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver lesson plans and instruction provided by the regular teacher

Manage classroom behavior in a manner consistent with school expectations

Maintain a positive, nurturing atmosphere that reflects Christian values

Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators

Adapt to various grade levels and subjects as needed
Qualifications:

A professing Christian committed to integrating faith into teaching

Experience working with children preferred

High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred

Flexible, dependable, and able to follow directions
