Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to ensure the peak performance of our industrial printing and finishing equipment. You will be responsible for the installation, routine maintenance, and repair of a diverse range of machinery— offset presses, digital printers, laminators, die cutters and variable data imaging lines —to minimize downtime and support high-speed production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections and servicing of printing presses, bindery equipment, and auxiliary systems according to manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic malfunctions using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Equipment Installation: Assist in the setup, calibration, and removal of machinery, ensuring proper installation and operational safety.
- Continuous Improvement: Partner with press operators to identify recurring issues, develop corrective actions, and implement upgrades to improve machine efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and requisition machine parts, tools, and supplies to maintain a stocked maintenance shop.
- Compliance & Safety: Strictly follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Documentation: Record all maintenance activities, repairs, and part usage in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Requirements
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
- Experience: 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, specifically within a printing or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Familiarity with standard maintenance tools (multimeters, calipers, soldering irons, etc.).
