Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, industrial equipment, and other diesel-powered vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as shocks, struts, and transmissions.
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper repair procedures are followed.
- Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical issues accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in tight spaces.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
