MyTeam Medical Staffing is currently seeks to place four (4) Medical Assistants with a well-established specialty medical practice serving the Portland metropolitan communities. Positions are located in SW and NW Portland plus Tualatin.

Education, Training, Experience & Certifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a clinical Medical Assistant in a physician office or clinic setting
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- List of current immunizations (documentation required)
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Strong organizational, documentation, and multitasking abilities
Strongly Preferred
- Current national Medical Assistant certification, such as: CMA (AAMA); RMA (AMT); NCMA (NCCT) or CCMA (NHA) or equivalent national certification
Compensation is influenced by certification status, experience, and employment longevity.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment by reviewing charts, obtaining vital signs, completing intake documentation, and verifying treatment eligibility.
- Educate patients regarding treatments, potential side effects, and follow-up care while providing excellent customer service.
- Perform and support clinical treatments, including IV therapy training, patient monitoring, and communicating patient progress to providers.
- Accurately document patient care, treatment information, medications, and related activities within the electronic medical record.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and triage incoming calls and messages appropriately.
- Maintain medication inventory, medical supplies, and treatment records while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant clinical environment, including equipment cleaning and sterilization.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations and patient care.
Pay: $21.00 - $25.50 per hour
