Overview
Join our dynamic retail team as a Temporary Retail Associate/Stocker and play a vital role in ensuring our store operates smoothly and efficiently! In this energetic position, you will be responsible for processing Amazon returns, sorting packages, assisting customers at the TSK, and providing excellent customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in retail operations while contributing to a positive shopping environment. Whether you’re assisting with product placement or handling shipments, your proactive approach will help keep our store organized and inviting for customers.
Responsibilities
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure products are accessible and visually appealing
- Use RF scanners to track products accurately throughout transit.
- Assist with produce handling, packaging, and merchandising to maintain quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor to promote safety and efficiency
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions, guiding shoppers, and supporting their needs in-store
- Support retail store operations through cashiering, stocking, and basic retail math calculations
Experience
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer needs
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and inventory management systems is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and inventory control
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and assist customers confidently
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while practicing safe lifting techniques
- Basic math skills for retail transactions, inventory counts, and stock calculations
