JOB
Duties include coordinating and implementing the department’s technical training program and overseeing all licensing training for Irving Water. Responsibilities include delivering training, coordinating with outside vendors, purchasing training materials, managing the partnership with IISD for career and technical education, and supporting water conservation initiatives through public education and the City’s leak detection program. As a program lead, this position provides technical guidance to two to five employees. An Associate degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Water Operations Management, or a related field plus three years of water distribution system experience, including at least one year each in water operations and wastewater operations required. A valid Texas driver’s license, a TCEQ Class C Water Distribution License (with the ability to obtain a Class B within two years), a TCEQ Level II Wastewater License (with the ability to obtain Level III within two years), and the ability to meet qualifications required for TCEQ approved water/wastewater licensing instructor are also required. PAY GRADE GG20 / FULL PAY RANGE $29.47 - $41.52 PER HOUR
