Line Cook – Join Our Team!
We are looking for a reliable, experienced Line Cook to join our team at our busy, family-friendly bowling center. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and can operate independently with confidence.
We are one of the busiest bowling centers in the area, with a strong and still growing food following. As we take on multiple leagues from a neighboring facility that is closing, we will be expanding our operating hours to meet increased demand.
As a bowling center, our business is primarily focused on evenings and weekends. We are closed on major holidays, including Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. This position will have a regular schedule (25-30 hrs per week to start) but schedules are adjusted seasonally, with our high season running from October through April and our low season from May through September.
Position Overview:
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a timely, efficient, and consistent manner while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Manage time effectively during peak service hours
- Monitor inventory and communicate needs to management
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation
- Support food preparation activities such as chopping, counting & weighing.
Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
- Minimum 2–3 years of recent line cook experience
- Valid Food Handler’s License
- Ability to obtain a Certified Food Protection Manager License
- Proven ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
- Nights and weekend availability

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
