Position Overview
O'Neill, Wallace & Doyle, P.C., an established Michigan law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Saginaw office.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage civil litigation matters from evaluation through resolution.
· Research legal issues and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and correspondence.
· Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, case evaluations, and trials.
· Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties.
· Manage deadlines and collaborate with attorneys and staff.
Qualifications
· Juris Doctor degree and active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan, or eligibility for admission.
· Strong research, writing, analytical, advocacy, and organizational skills.
· Sound judgment, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Civil litigation and courtroom experience are preferred but not required. Newly licensed and experienced attorneys are encouraged to apply.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting salary: $70,000+ annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include healthcare coverage; dental and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; payment of State Bar dues and other professional expenses.
