What you’ll do
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations while performing high voltage work.
- Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
- Conduct routine inspections using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide maintenance person services as needed to support overall project completion.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician in both residential and commercial environments.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with frame carpentry techniques for integrated construction projects.
- Previous experience on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks effectively.
