Overview
International Trade Links Corporation is engaged in the distribution of Indian sweets, snacks, and savouries across New Jersey. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to grow our presence across grocery stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and food-service businesses.
The ideal candidate should be confident in field sales, customer relationship management, and new business development. Experience in food distribution, FMCG, ethnic grocery, or retail sales is preferred.
Duties
- Visit existing and prospective customers across New Jersey.
- Introduce and promote our range of Indian sweets, snacks, and savouries.
- Identify new sales opportunities with grocery stores, supermarkets, restaurants, distributors, and food-service businesses.
- Take customer orders and coordinate with the operations and delivery teams.
- Follow up on sales leads, quotations, pending orders, payments, and customer enquiries.
- Conduct cold calls and in-person meetings with prospective customers.
- Participate in product samplings, trade events, and promotional activities when required.
Experience
- Previous experience in sales, business development, food distribution, FMCG, or retail is preferred, 3+ years.
- Experience working with grocery stores, supermarkets, restaurants, or food-service businesses is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Indian or South Asian sweets, snacks, and grocery products is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Comfortable with cold calling, field visits, and developing new accounts.
- Basic proficiency with email, WhatsApp, spreadsheets, and mobile order-management tools.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Must be willing to travel regularly throughout New Jersey.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
