About the Role:
The Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee compensation within the organization. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of payroll operations, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Payroll Specialist collaborates closely with HR and finance teams to maintain payroll records, resolve discrepancies, and support audits. Minimum Qualifications:

Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.

Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements at the federal and state levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Process and execute payroll for all employees accurately and on schedule using payroll software such as ADP.

Calculate and remit payroll taxes, including federal, state, and local tax withholdings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, tax information, and benefit deductions, while ensuring data confidentiality.

Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies or issues related to payroll processing in collaboration with HR and finance departments.

Prepare and submit required payroll reports and documentation for internal audits and external regulatory agencies.

Responsible for processing garnishments, 401k loans, etc.
