American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR/Surgery RN for a 13-week travel assignment at an ambulatory surgery center in San Antonio, TX, requiring surgical circulator experience across multiple specialties.

Ambulatory surgery center (outpatient) setting
-
Circulating OR nurse role covering ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, GYN, and Plastic Surgery specialties
-
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM shift

Schedule may vary each day based on case start times

13-week contract
-
Active RN license in TX or a compact state currently in hand
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA-issued only)

Minimum 1 year of OR/surgical nursing experience

Experience circulating across multiple surgical specialties (ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, GYN, and Plastic Surgery) required

BSN preferred

US Social Security Number required for consideration

Active, unexpired copies of all certifications required for consideration

Provides routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation

Administers medications and treatments per protocol and monitors for side effects and effectiveness

Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
-
Assesses patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education
-
Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
-
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
