Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and shape our fiscal future. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that support organizational goals and promote sustainable growth.
- Lead the preparation of accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions including revenue management, cost control, expense management, payroll management, and treasury operations.
- Manage risk analysis processes to identify potential financial threats and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Direct mergers & acquisitions activities, including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration efforts to expand organizational capabilities.
- Ensure regulatory reporting compliance across all jurisdictions and maintain adherence to industry-specific financial regulations such as ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations).
- Lead the development of financial projection models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning to inform executive decision-making.
- Supervise finance team members in areas such as financial analysis, financial report writing and interpretation, audit coordination, and internal controls.
- Oversee treasury management activities including cash flow forecasting, investment strategies, and fundraising initiatives for business development.
- Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends and inform strategic initiatives that enhance competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on corporate strategy development and provide insights on profit & loss scenarios to optimize organizational performance.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles such as Finance Director or CFO within diverse industries; experience in non-profit accounting is a plus.
- Proven expertise in accounting systems implementation, financial software proficiency, and technical accounting standards including GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606, and COSO frameworks.
- Strong background in financial analysis, modeling, forecasting analysis, risk management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated success in mergers & acquisitions, fundraising for business development projects, and managing complex budgets.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing finance teams; ability to foster collaboration across departments.
- Excellent communication skills for clear financial report writing and interpretation tailored for varied audiences including board members and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of industry knowledge of financial regulations combined with an analytical mindset for market analysis and business analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable.

Pay: $102,989.17 - $131,986.96 per year
