About the Position
Aquarius Pool Services is a growing, family-oriented pool service company looking for a dependable and motivated Pool Service Technician to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in doing quality work, communicates well, and wants to grow with a company long term. We are not looking for someone seeking temporary summer work. We are looking for someone reliable who values consistency, professionalism, and teamwork.
No pool experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. Experience in pool service, landscaping, construction, pressure washing, HVAC, or other outdoor service industries is a plus.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Testing and adjusting pool chemicals
- Skimming pools and emptying baskets
- Brushing pool surfaces
- Vacuuming pools as needed
- Monitoring overall pool condition
- Communicating professionally with customers and management
- Maintaining accurate service notes and photos when required
- Providing dependable and consistent service to clients
As training progresses, opportunities for additional responsibilities and hours may become available.
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: Routes completed by 5:00 PM
- Friday: Routes completed by 3:00 PM
- No Saturdays
- Flexible scheduling available when possible for family emergencies and personal needs, provided responsibilities are completed
Training hours will typically begin around 15–20 hours weekly, with potential to grow into 20–30+ hours as routes expand and training is completed.
Requirements
- Reliable pickup truck required
- Clean driving record
- Smartphone required
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and changing weather conditions
- Comfortable around dogs and pets
- Ability to swim
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable attendance and reliability
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
Mileage reimbursement and applicable vehicle-use compensation will be provided for business-related driving in accordance with company policy and NC requirements.
