As a Breakfast Attendant, you will play a key part in preparing and presenting delicious breakfast offerings, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all food safety standards are met. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations
- Assist with food handling, portioning, and basic food preparation tasks to support culinary operations
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service
- Follow manual handling protocols when lifting or moving food supplies and equipment to ensure safety
- Uphold food safety management practices by adhering to hygiene standards and dietary guidelines, including accommodating special dietary needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially with fine dining or banquet experience
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor in face-to-face interactions
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory or weights in the workplace
- Experience with POS systems for processing payments accurately
- Culinary experience or dietary aide background is a plus; familiarity with wine knowledge is advantageous but not required
