Responsibilities
- Safely ascend trees using climbing gear and rigging techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal operations.
- Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment to access high branches efficiently and securely.
- Implement arborist rigging techniques to control the fall of large limbs or entire trees during removal or pruning projects.
- Conduct tree care activities such as pruning, shaping, and health assessments based on horticultural best practices.
- Use chainsaws and hand tools for cutting, trimming, and removing trees or branches with precision and safety.
- Follow strict safety protocols during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure team safety.
Experience
- Proven outdoor work experience in tree climbing, landscaping, or horticulture environments.
- Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks and understanding arborist rigging techniques.
- Knowledge of tree removal procedures, plant pruning care, and tree trimming best practices.
- Skilled in using chainsaws safely and effectively for various cutting tasks.
- Understanding of safety protocols related to climbing, rigging, equipment operation, and outdoor work environments.
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
