We're looking for an energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk & Membership Sales Associate to be the face of our facility while helping maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional atmosphere.
Position Summary
As a Front Desk & Membership Sales Associate, you will be one of the first people our members and guests interact with. You'll provide exceptional customer service, assist with membership sales, answer questions, and help ensure our facility remains clean, organized, and inviting. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in maintaining a high-quality fitness environment.
Responsibilities
Member Services
- Greet members and guests with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Check members in and assist with account questions.
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Conduct tours for prospective members.
- Explain membership options, promotions, and club amenities.
- Resolve member concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Facility Cleaning & Organization
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Clean and sanitize fitness equipment throughout each shift.
- Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and amenities as needed.
- Empty trash and ensure the facility remains clean and presentable throughout the day.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or the fitness industry is a plus.
- Comfortable speaking with new people and confidently discussing memberships.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate cleaning duties, including lifting up to 45 pounds.
