Position Summary
The Assistant Electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction site operations and helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and experience managing electrical crews, subcontractors, project schedules, and material coordination.
Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000 + Incentives (BOE)

Responsibilities
- Direct, supervise, and coordinate the work of assigned electricians and field personnel.
- Assign daily work activities and provide leadership to field crews.
- Interpret electrical blueprints, specifications, and job documentation.
- Review shop drawings and spool drawings to support timely field installation.
- Inspect work in progress and completed installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure required team members participate in predictive reporting and audit 5x5s and pre-task plans for compliance.
- Coordinate material and equipment deliveries to maintain project schedules.
- Attend project meetings and communicate effectively with project leadership.
- Complete daily reports, upload jobsite photos, and maintain project documentation.
- Mentor, coach, and develop field employees while promoting a strong safety culture.
- Lead assigned personnel and provide recommendations regarding hiring, promotions, transfers, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
Required Qualifications:
- State Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electrician License
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Strong knowledge of current NEC Code and OSHA regulations
- Minimum of 10 years of electrical industry experience or equivalent field experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience leading field personnel and resolving personnel issues
- Ability to obtain Competent Person certifications
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and asset management skills
- Proficiency with laptops, tablets, smartphones, Microsoft Teams, Procore, BIM, and other construction technology
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to read and understand project documentation in English
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment
