About the Opportunity
As a key member of the Talent Relations Team, you will play a pivotal role in the discovery, coordination, and management of talent for various programming initiatives. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on organization, communication, and a deep passion for the worlds of sports, culture, and entertainment. You’ll be instrumental in connecting diverse voices with a global audience, ensuring that every guest appearance and content opportunity is executed flawlessly and contributes to the client’s mission of delivering compelling stories.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain a robust system for tracking upcoming content across culture and sports, ensuring timely and relevant talent engagement.
- Continuously update comprehensive documents detailing upcoming film, TV, book releases, major sporting events, and award shows to inform talent sourcing.
- Provide essential support for onsite guest appearances, meticulously managing all logistical aspects to ensure a smooth and successful experience.
- Collaborate closely with the Talent Relations team on guest booking processes and support the exciting launch of new shows.
- Manage and maintain a detailed calendar for performance review check-ins with various show teams.
- Conduct thorough research and generate curated talent lists for diverse projects, including programming and live events.
- Act as a crucial liaison between the Talent Relations team and the legal department, facilitating clear communication and meticulous record-keeping.
- Establish efficient workflows and consistent check-in protocols with show teams to optimize collaboration.
- Work synergistically with show teams, producers, and managers to achieve shared content goals.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in the media, entertainment, or sports industry, demonstrating a foundational understanding of the landscape.
- A genuine passion for culture, film & TV, sports, and music, with a keen awareness of current trends.
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and detailed information effectively.
- An effective communicator with proven ability to collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams and individuals.
- Proactive and action-oriented, consistently taking initiative to drive projects forward.
- Willingness to travel and be onsite for tapings as required.
- Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Strong familiarity with the pop culture scene and/or the sports industry.
Compensation
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $32.00 to $38.00. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
