Steve's Mowing, LLC is an established family owned and operated mowing and lawn maintenance company in Northern Virginia. We offer residential mowing, fertilization and weed control, mulching, shrub trimming, aeration and seeding, and leaf removal.

There will be an extensive period of hands-on, job-specific training. Once training is complete, resources will be available in the field to assist with any questions that arise throughout your workday. Refresher training can be requested at any time.
Job Summary
At Steve's Mowing, we are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing customer properties, preparing accurate service estimates, and addressing customer concerns. This position requires a strong understanding of lawn care services and maintenance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Duties
- Travel to customer’s homes in a company provided truck
- Provide customers with their requested estimates
- Explain our company’s services to customers
- Listen to and solve customer issues
- Speak to customers with a pleasant and clear in-person and over-the-phone voice
- Provide assistance and support to other team members as needed
- Filling out and filing paperwork
- Light office maintenance
- Other duties as assigned by management
Skills
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or estimating preferred
- Ability to read property layouts and calculate square footage
- Ability to create drawings that accurately reflect customer desires
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
