Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring proper presentation and quality
- Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation when needed and support team members in delivering seamless service
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with fine dining or hospitality backgrounds
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling sales transactions
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards
- Food handling certification and understanding of sanitation practices required for food safety compliance
- Previous experience with reservation systems like OpenTable is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
