ExoTerra is seeking a full‑time Design and Analysis Integration Senior Manager to lead the Design and Analysis Team. This role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and is responsible for establishing and refining product development lifecycle design and analysis processes, driving technical consistency, and mentoring engineers. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in spacecraft design and analysis for commercial, space, and defense customers, including work related to Hall‑effect thrusters, xenon and krypton propellant flow control systems, and electronic power systems.

Oversee design, development, test & evaluation, product verification/validation, and sustaining engineering

Ensure design outputs meet diverse customer requirements across multiple electric propulsion architectures

Support troubleshooting of space‑flown hardware and conceptual design of propulsion LRUs and full propulsion systems

Establish and refine analysis processes across the Analysis Team

Coordinate across engineering groups to promote efficiency and alignment

Partner with Production and IPT leads to ensure cohesive execution

Train and mentor analysis engineers in process implementation

Review analysis methods, results, and documentation for technical consistency

Plan and oversee stress analyses (modal, quasi‑static, random vibration, fatigue, tubing) for components through full spacecraft

Support multiple programs simultaneously across various lifecycle stages

Interpret customer requirements, interface with customers, present analysis results, and prepare formal reports

Coordinate resources for dynamic testing (random vibration, shock) of components and propulsion systems

Oversee correlation of stress models to test data

Manage direct reports responsible for flight hardware sign-off

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

10+ years of industry leadership experience (pay commensurate with experience)

Extensive experience with CAD, Digital Twin tools, and NASTRAN/FEMAP

Strong knowledge of spacecraft design, thermal, and structural analysis

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Full lifecycle spacecraft DDT&E experience, especially with electric propulsion

Experience establishing/refining propulsion system design and analysis processes

Experience with spacecraft design, thermal analysis, and stress/dynamic analysis

Experience with space or satellite hardware

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary range: $210,000 - $260,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
