Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and student-centered Middle School Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching adolescents, creating engaging learning experiences, and supporting students' academic and personal growth in a collaborative school environment.
Depending on the candidate's background and the school's needs, the teacher may teach one or more middle school subjects, including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, or Social Studies.
Essential Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction for students in Grades 6–8.
- Develop lesson plans that promote critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress using the school's learning management system.
- Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school administrators regarding academic progress and student well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, and school initiatives.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, parent conferences, and school events.
- Supervise students during assigned duties and support extracurricular activities when needed.
- Uphold all school policies and contribute positively to the school community.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related academic field.
- Previous teaching experience with middle school students.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
